Jamie McMurray scored his third pole of the 2010 season at Chicagoland Speedway for Saturday night's LifeLock.com 400 in Chicago. McMurray set the fastest lap time in qualifying at a 29.42 at 183.542 mph with new dad Jimmie Johnson starting in second. McMurray had a pole at California in the spring after winning the Daytona 500 and at Darlington. Jamie McMurray has went on to have several second place finishes this year and is having a good year in the #1 McDonalds Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet.

Tony Stewart is starting third, with Greg Biffle and Sam Hornish Jr rounding out the top 5 in qualifying from Joliet. Three Chevrolet's a Ford and a Dodge within the top 5 and the first Toyota qualified in seventh with David Reuitmann in the 00 Aarons Toyota. Mark Martin scored the win at Chicago one year ago and Chicago has seen some wild finishes over the last two years with Kyle Busch passing Jimmie Johnson in 2008 in a green white checker finish and just last year Johnson and Hamlin made contact and then Brian Vickers go into Hamlin and that allowed Mark Martin to sneak by for the victory.

Kevin Harvick comes into Chicagoland as the points leader he qualifed in 27th after coming off the win last weekend in Daytona. Harvick is also the polesitter for Friday night's Nationwide Series race at Chicago.
