2:18: Nadal wins. Somewhat dissapointing. However, this match is just another example of how the tope players are struggling. Great effort from Hasse. Thanks for joining!
2:17: After a Hasse hold, Nadal has three match points.
2:13: A detrimental hold for Nadal. Well at least it is detrimental for Hasse, who is down 5-2, (one break).
2:11: Hasse desperately needs some momentum. He holds serve, but will that be able to propel him?
2:08: Nadal holds, is this match out of reach?
2:06: Nadal just gets to everything. EVERYTHING. He breaks Hasse's serve.
2:03: Or maybe we don't. 0-30 on Hasse's serve.
2:00: Nadal does hold his serve, but a more competative set is on the horizon. 2-1 in the fifth.
1:57: Nadal does hold. If you are following this, then I urge you to continue. That last set Hasse realizes that it wasn't happening, so he folded and hoped for the best in the fifth. Hasse just holds.
1:52: Hasse gives away that last game, and we will head to a fifth set. It is not looking too good. But as we just saw, who knows what can happen in a fifth set at Wimbledon?
1:45: Nadal has just broken again. Even if he wins this set there is a fifth set. Also keep in mind, that after Nadal won the second set 6-2, Hasse broke back to get the third set 6-3.
1:41: Nadal holds, 3-0 in the fourth set, up just one break.
1:39: Nadal has taken the first break of the fourth set, but Hasse could easily get back in this one. Hasse, who is back after missing the past two years with knee injuries, took out James Blake in the first round.
1:34: Just after John Isner took the fifth set of his match, Nadal will need to go that length in order to win his match over Robin Hasse, who has shockingly taken two of the first three sets against the former Wimbledon champion.
