Is Manny Pacquiao the Entertainer and Floyd Mayweather the Moneymaker?
By Troy A. Sparks
I am shocked that Bleacher Report contributor Leo Reyes would believe his own poppycock article on Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
He believes that Pacquiao likes to put on a show for boxing fans and Floyd Jr. boxes for money only.
No boxer, Mr. Reyes, fights for free. Every professional boxer who starts out in the game has to fight for peanuts.
Do you think, Mr. Reyes, that Mayweather fights for money only?
I believe that he's a technical boxer, not a brawler.
But if it came down to street fighting, Mayweather can do that too.
The 41 or so wins by Mayweather aren't a fluke.
And he didn't make millions of dollars in the beginning on his rise to the top.
The Pac-Man, I think, was lucky to beat Oscar De La Hoya.
He was too fast for Ricky Hatton.
Miguel Cotto and Juan Manuel Marquez aren't Floyd Mayweather.
How could Pacquiao apologize for disappointing the fans after defeating Joshua Clottey?
When, or if, the megafight between the boxers happens, Floyd Jr. will knock Pacquiao out!
To me, Mayweather is the entertainer and the best boxer ever in any weight class.
Remember, "Money" put a whupping on De La Hoya, Hatton, and Marquez.
Even with Floyd Sr. training De La Hoya, the "Golden Boy" still couldn't win.
Let's issue a slap-boxing challenge between Pacquiao and Mayweather.
Floyd Jr. will pimp-slap the Pac-Man and have him running like a little girl.
Since I like Mayweather's entertainment and boxing style, my money is on "Money."
