Arsenal Have Never Been Better Than They Are With Wenger?

I was talking to my mate's friend yesterday and he became an Arsenal fan after the Invincible year and he thinks the major problem with Arsenal is Wenger.

I couldn't believe it. His simple explanation was that other top managers spend money and we don't.

This is what young arsenal fans moan about each year, "Oh Wenger doesn't want to spend money," "Wenger is destroying Arsenal."

Ever thought why he will quit spending when he used to readily do it before we had a $400 million stadium debt.

And do any of these 12-13-year-old people know how many PL or First Division Arsenal had won in the last 20 years before Wenger came? Take a guess ?

Three PL Trophies in 20 years ( 1970-71, 88-89, 90-91). That's it and after Wenger came to us he has won us

1. Three PL trophies,
   
2. Three FA Cups and
   
3. Four Community Shields

This is all before we build the stadium by the way so in seven years he has won more trophies for us than we had won in 20 years maybe even 30 years.

Oh AND we have been runner ups

1. In the PL in 98-99, 99-00, 00-01, 01-02, 04-05
   
2. In FA Cup for '01
3. In Community Shield in '03, '05
4. Runners Up In Champions League 05-06
5. Runners Up In Uefa Cup 2000

How many people knew about this? The kid I spoke to didn't know about this, did you?

And if you want to know what Wenger has achieved in the last five years then I doubt any of you ever saw Highbury.

Facilities in Emirates are light years better than they were at Highbury. Don't get me wrong I love Highbury and if I had the money then I will be the first person who will buy a house there, but we had to move on and compete with other top European clubs like Barca and United in the stadium department and we can now.

Ask any person who has been to stadiums all over England and they will say we have the best stadium, ask any curator about the pitches in England and they will say we have the best pitches all that missing now is the best team.

This team has deficiencies but no one can argue that a few tweaks and a couple of signings can't fix these problems and with this squad who are barely over the age of 23 they are going to get better each and every year.

Wenger says we finally have money to spend so believe him damn it and keep the faith. We have the best manager for the job. BELIEVE IN HIM AND HE WILL PROVIDE.

LOOK I AM NOT SAYING that people who question Wenger are not true Arsenal Fans, THEY ARE but they have to know that Wenger will never do anything to hurt Arsenal's chances of winning a trophy. He has been involved in everything that Arsenal has done in the last decade from the stadium to the training facilities to the way we play.

We are Arsenal, we lose together and we will win together and our next trophy that we will win whenever that might be will be the proudest moment for an Arsenal fan because when we win this trophy then we will know we won it the hard, right way and that's something a Chelsea Fan, a City Fan can never ever achieve.

You wanna know who the No.1 Arsenal Fan is then I will say it's Wenger. Time is a virtue only a few can provide and let that be us (ARSENAL FANS).
