Brian Scott of Braun Racing to Be Sponsored by BigSpot.com for Five Races

Horn FanMar 13, 2010

B/R's Braun Racing rookie Brian Scott and his No. 11 team's hard work pays off for them with BigSpot.com, an Offerwise Company, agreeing to sponsor the team for five races this season.

Scott and his Billy Wilburn-led team have two top-10 starts in three events this season, all with having to qualify on speed for the first five races of the season.

He also picked up his first career top-10 finish in the Nationwide Series, at the Stater Bros. 300 at Auto Club Speedway, and it's also a career-best finish for him.

Scott sits 17th in the 2010 Nationwide Owners standings, safely in the top 30, and after Nashville the team won't have to concentrate so hard on qualifying.

He'll be racing the No. 11 BigSpot.com Toyota Camry at Phoenix (4/9), Road America (6/19), New Hampshire (6/28), Richmond (9/10)ย and Dover (9/25).

"It's exciting anytime you can can align yourself with a great marketing partner like BigSpot.com," said Scott.

"Braun Racing continues to bring in new sponsors in tough economic times and I'm proud to be part of it."

Scott, a Nationwide Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender, sits second in the standings with 30 points.

Just four points separate him from leader James Buescher, who has 34 points after three races.

It's nice to seeย Scott, aย tremendously talented alumnus of the Camping World Truck Series, running so well in the Nationwide Series.ย

Let Scott and his new team continue their success, growing stronger as the season continues. I'm sure we'll see more sponsors champing at the bit to put their brand onย Scott's No. 11 Braun Racing Toyota.

Scott also received good news about his wrist last Monday.

When he had a high-resolution CT scan done on his right wrist, learned that it's 85 percent healed and that it's still healing.

Scottย broke it lastย June, inย a Truck race at Michigan. He won't need surgery, will continue to wear a brace and need to work on his range of motion with it.
