New Orleans Saints Reportedly Sign Deuce McAllister

New Orleans has reportedly agreed to terms with former running back, Deuce McAllister.

McAllister isn't guaranteed to have a role for the playoffs, but with Pierre Thomas dealing with an injury and Mike Bell's play dropping off in the second half of the season, the Saints were looking for someone who knew their offense.

McCallister is now the fourth running back on their roster that has either a strong injury history or has been inconsistent in recent memory. The fact that they're signing him just one day before their game doesn't bode well for the offense .

St. Louis Rams Interested in Michael Vick?

It's been no secret that Michael Vick has wanted out of Philadelphia, and with the St. Louis Rams in obvious need of a quarterback upgrade, this trade could actually happen.

It's very early, but reports suggest the teams are talking, making a deal very possible.

There have also been quiet reports about Donovan McNabb also being dangled to other teams, so stay alert for any updates on both matters.

Anquan Boldin to Miss Saturday's Game?

Reports have not helped Boldin's cause to play this week, and with zero practice reps since Week 17, we're not so sure we'd be confident in his play even if he was playing.

Early Doucet and Steve Breaston are more than capable of picking up the slack, so don't expect the Arizona Cardinals to rush Boldin back against the New Orleans Saints.

Perry Fewell Chooses New York Giants

Fewell has been going back and forth between the Chicago Bears and New York Giants for the past week and a half, and finally decided on New York.

Fewell has a good relationship with Lovie Smith, so it seems Chicago was his first choice, but the uncertainty surrounding Smith and the rest of his coaching staff scared Fewell away.

Marion Barber Ready For Sunday?

Barber's knee gave him trouble in last week's win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and he was pulled in favor of Felix Jones because he "lacked explosiveness."

He's unlikely to be a complete scratch against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but you can't expect much from a slow, nicked-up back against a Vikings run defense that swallows up runners at home.

Look for Felix Jones to dominate the carries. That is, if the Dallas Cowboys can manage to run the ball on the "Williams Wall."

LT Isn't Planning on Retiring

LaDainian Tomlinson is reportedly not even thinking about retirement, and will likely pursue a career as a starter (or a backup) elsewhere if San Diego decides to part ways with him.

Tomlinson isn't wildly ineffective, but there certainly have been some signs of regression, and at age 30 and with a ton of tread on his tires, it's no wonder that he's slowing down.

LT has said that he wants to continue playing, and that he'd like to play long enough so his unborn child can see him play. At least his children will always be able to look back on this .
