I know Alabama homers are still giddy over their SEC Championship. I don't blame you. It was huge. I know you're pumped about the big game next week. You should be. But before you start believing your idiots like Finebaum and Crittendon, stop and assess for a minute.

First, you still have to beat Texas. That is no small feat. Not too many teams the last five years or more have done it. Nobody this year has. Until you do that, you still have not won a National Title in 17 years.

Since then UF has won three. Also UF has won seven SEC Title Games since then while 'Bama has two. When 'Bama has at least one BCS Title, then you can maybe start to think about the POSSIBILITY you have take over as the premier team in the SEC.

You don't want to talk about the last 17 years? OK let's talk about the last four. 48-7, TWO National Titles, TWO SEC Titles, THREE BCS Bowl wins. Can you match that? No.

Don't want to go back that far either? Ok let's go back the last two. We have a 26-2 record. You have to win against Texas to get to that. We have an SEC Title, just like you. We also have a BCS Title, just like you would IF you win. And we also have a 3-1 record in post season, which you can only get to 2-2.

We will also have a Sugar Bowl trophy in the trophy case that you failed to get.

So I guess you just want to count THIS year. Well this year is not over yet. And IF you win, I don't quite understand how you erase two decades of dominance in one year. If that's the case, then I guess Auburn could be the premiere team in the SEC next year?
