"An Amazing Comeback!" - announcer at end of Texas win over Nebraska.
Texas 13, Nebraska 12.
I'm thinking Alabama 63, Texas 0.
Colt McCoy's best two plays were punts. Enough said.
Not playing like a championship caliber team or the best team in Texas.
In back to back weeks we've seen what a good defense (Nebraska) and a good offense (Texas A&M) can do to Texas. Imagine what Alabama, who has a great offense and a great defense, will do to the Longhorns?
Since October 17, Texas has barely beaten Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Nebraska.
Since October 17, TCU has barely beaten...wait, they've crushed everyone, including top 25 teams BYU and Utah.
TCU's closest game in that stretch? A 55-28 beatdown of top 25 opponent Utah, a game in which they led 35-7 early in the second quarter and never looked back; only giving up points in garbage time.
Who has the Big 12 beaten in their Non-conference? Georgia?
The MWC has beaten ACC runner up Clemson, and Big 12 opponent Oklahoma.
Suh made a strong case for the Heisman trophy in this game.
Colt McCoy on the other hand, made a strong case for being the most overrated player in America. Three Interceptions, and almost costing your team the game by throwing the ball out of bounds.
Alabama will absolutely crush Texas. The Big 12 is awful compared to the SEC.
Can you honestly say that Texas is deserving over TCU at this point? I would be utterly surprised if Texas even puts up a fight against Alabama.
TCU on the other hand is a complete team, who doesn't win in miracle fashion every other week. They crush people. They crushed the BYU team that beat Oklahoma when they were at their strongest; when they had Bradford for the entire first half.
They crushed a Utah team that gave Oregon a run for their money at Autzen.
TCU has played so much better than Texas in the second half of the season; it's not even close.
Nebraska's a solid team, but they have no offense whatsoever, and they still should've beaten Texas.
Texas was very fortunate to win.
If anyone wants to make easy money, bet for Alabama to cover whatever spread is put out in the upcoming BCS title game.
