Copart's Challenge of Champions between Ron Hornaday Jr. and Todd Bodine comes to its conclusion at Talladega Superspeedway.
Copart, Inc. has sweetened the pot, by upping the ante in the Challenge by announcing it will donate $5,000 to the winner's favorite charity.
Bodine's favorite charity is the American Cancer Society, while Hornaday's is Victory Junction and both are great organizations.
Copart sponsors the two champions, Hornaday in the No. 33 a three-time Champion (1996, 1998, & 2007) and Bodine in the No. 30 is the 2006 Champion.
They've raced Copart sponsored trucks three times each in five races, that made up the Challenge where one or both of them have raced in a Copart truck. They'll both race a fourth time in the Mountain Dew 250 powered by Fred's.
While Hornaday leads the Challenge 530 points to Bodine's 424 points, but with 195 points still available it's far from over and Bodine could still win it.
The winner will receive a trophy and a $5,000 check to donate to their favorite charity post race.
But it's not just Hornaday or Bodine winning, two lucky fans Sherly Montavan and Darlene Coleman will receive a VIP race weekend at Talladega and will cheer on the driver they voted for.
Montavan will be in Hornaday's pit cheering him on and Coleman will be in Bodine's pit stall.
Should their driver win the Challenge, they'll also get autographed memorabilia from them and also a lifetime status as a Copart member.
It definitely will be an exciting conclusion to the Challenge that saw Hornaday pick up a win, a second and a sixth, versus Bodine with a fourth, a 10th and a 16th.
And all Hornaday needs is 60 points to win Copart's Challenge of Champions.
