Marshawn Lynch: Jon Gruden Must Have Cut 'Side Deals' on Raiders Schedule

Scott PolacekApr 19, 2018

Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch joked his new head coach must have had an influence on their 2018 schedule.

"[Jon] Gruden must have cut some side deals," he said in a video on Raiders.com (h/t Vic Tafur of The Athletic).

According to the Raiders' official website, Oakland plays four primetime games in 2018, marking the first time in franchise history it will play at least four contests under the lights in back-to-back years.

Two of Oakland's games are on Monday Night Football, the ESPN broadcast Gruden was a part of in recent years as an analyst before accepting the Raiders position.

Lynch and the Raiders are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2017 campaign that saw them go 6-10 and miss the playoffs after they were an impressive 12-4 the prior year.
