5-Star PG Ashton Hagans Commits to Kentucky After Decommitting from Georgia
The Georgia Bulldogs' loss is the Kentucky Wildcats' gain.
On Tuesday, class of 2019 point guard Ashton Hagans—who 247Sports lists as a 5-star recruit—announced he would play for the Wildcats after decommitting from Georgia in late February.
"I committed to Kentucky," Hagans told Evan Daniels of 247Sports. "It's my dream school, and I feel like I can get the job done."

Ranking Every Team After Draft 📊
After Hagans reopened his recruiting, Boston College, Florida, Georgetown, Marquette, Ohio State and Providence were among the teams that had him on their radars, according to 247Sports' Jerry Meyer.
In the end, head coach John Calipari brought in yet another top recruit, which he'll need after Kevin Knox, P.J. Washington and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander all declared for the 2018 NBA draft. Hamidou Diallo and Jarred Vanderbilt may declare as well, and Tai Wynyard and Sacha Killeya-Jones will transfer.
Teams had time to make pitches to the 6'4", 185-pound Hagans, as Game Elite 2019 coach Chris Williams made it clear the high school junior would not reclassify.
