Report: Marquese Chriss Expected to Be Suspended for Argument with Suns Coach

Marquese Chriss is reportedly facing a suspension from the Phoenix Suns.

Per ESPN.com's Chris Haynes, Chriss' impending one-game ban is because of his involvement in a verbal confrontation with a Suns assistant coach.

Chriss has been a featured part of the Suns lineup since he was acquired in a draft-day trade with the Sacramento Kings, who originally selected him No. 8 overall in 2016.

He became the fourth player in NBA history with 100 steals, 100 blocks and 100 three-pointers before the age of 21 during Wednesday's 102-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

In 46 games this season, Chriss is averaging seven points and five rebounds. The Suns are in fourth place in the Pacific Division—and 13th in the Western Conference—with an 18-35 record.
