According to Jessica Camerato of CSN Philly, Okafor is 20 pounds lighter than he was at the start of last season's training camp after embracing a "mostly vegan" diet.
Per Camerato, the 21-year-old has eliminated dairy items such as cheese and chocolate, but he still eats fish "every now and then."
The third overall pick of the 2015 NBA draft has played in only 103 games over the past two seasons, so it's understandable he wants to be in the best shape possible ahead of the upcoming campaign.
