Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alvaro Morata and Danilo
Chelsea are reportedly ready to raid Real Madrid to sign striker Alvaro Morata and right-back Danilo.
The Blues have yet to make any major acquisitions in the transfer window and are poised to miss out on the signing of Everton's Romelu Lukaku, with Manchester United having agreed a fee for the player, per Simon Stone of BBC Sport.
According to Sky Italia (h/t Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports News HQ), Chelsea are ready to pursue some other targets:

Neil Fissler of the Sunday Express reported that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is "livid" with how the Blues' transfer window has gone so far and is set to hold discussions with club representatives.
With that in mind, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Blues get busy in terms of recruitment in the coming days. Morata would suit the Italian's managerial methods, with Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe believing the striker would be a smart option for the champions:
While it appears Lukaku was high on Chelsea's list of targets, if they were able to bring in Morata, there wouldn't be too many tied to the club who would be disappointed.
After returning to Real Madrid a year ago, the Spain international enjoyed a season of encouraging development. While often on the bench, Morata added a ruthlessness to his game in the final third when he was on the field.

In the past, he's made no secret of his desire to work under Conte too, with the coach key in taking Morata to Juventus in 2014.
"I feel indebted to him because he's the coach that most trusted in me, most wanted me, who made me feel I could perform at the highest level," Morata said in an interview with the Guardian's Sid Lowe in April. "And yet I've never had the fortune to actually work with him. I'm sure sooner or later I will."
Sport Witness suggested the feeling would be mutual if Conte were able to bring the 24-year-old to Stamford Bridge:
Danilo may not be as glamorous a signing, although it's interesting to see Chelsea linked with the Brazil international.
Having joined Real from FC Porto in the summer of 2015, the right-back was expected to provide competition for Dani Carvajal. However, since making the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, he's struggled to settle, lacked defensive awareness and failed to provide a consistent attacking threat.

Nevertheless, it was clear during his time in Portugal there's a player in there somewhere. Football writer Rupert Fryer thinks English football may suit the 25-year-old:
Victor Moses emerged last term for the Blues to provide an explosive option at right wing-back, bursting down the flank and giving Chelsea a consistent outlet. Danilo would offer a similar type of presence if he were to join, although there are a lot of rough edges in his game that need smoothing down.
The same could be said for Morata despite his recent improvements. Yet if Conte were able to finally work with the Spaniard and give him a key role in the Chelsea side, you sense the forward's progression would be a treat to watch.
