Jordan Hicks Reportedly Suffers Hand Injury While on Vacation in Greece

Mike ChiariJun 30, 2017

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks reportedly suffered a hand injury while getting out of a pool Thursday during a vacation in Greece.

According to Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com, the severity of the injury isn't yet known, but the Eagles don't believe it is significant or likely to sideline Hicks for more than four weeks.

The 25-year-old Hicks started all 16 games for the Eagles last season and finished the year with 86 tackles, five interceptions and one sack.

He is expected to start once again in 2017, and anything beyond a short-term injury would be devastating for an Eagles linebacker corps that has little depth.

Behind the 2015 third-round pick out of Texas at middle linebacker are unheralded options in Joe Walker and Don Cherry.
