Arsenal Transfer News: Henry Onyekuru Reportedly Close to Everton Move
Everton are reportedly set to sign Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
According to BBC Sport's Phil McNulty, the Nigeria international is poised to join the Toffees in a deal worth around £7 million before moving to Anderlecht on loan for the 2017-18 campaign.
As noted by McNulty, the Gunners and West Ham United have also been seen as potential suitors for the 20-year-old, who shone in Belgium's top flight last term.

Indeed, Onyekuru struck 22 goals in the Jupiler League and Jupiler League play-off for his side, making him the joint-highest goalscorer in the competition. Given it was his first year at such a high level, the total represented a very impressive haul indeed.
Here's a look at some of his best moments from the previous campaign:
"Everton's new signing Henry Onyekuru, 20, clearly has some talent. Joint top scorer in Belgium last year according to @Squawka (22 goals) pic.twitter.com/bsU7qEHaLL

Arsenal were tipped to sign Onyekuru earlier in summer, with Sky Sports reporting the Gunners had agreed a fee with Eupen for his signature. However, according to John Cross of the Daily Mirror, the north London club never held a serious interest in the striker:
Onyekuru is a player whose progress will be followed closely next term nonetheless, especially with a possible Premier League debut in mind in 2018-19.
Arsenal are well-stocked with forwards as things stand, and it would be difficult to see quite where Onyekuru would have fit into Arsene Wenger's squad. With that in mind, supporters won't lament missing out on the Super Eagles starlet for too long.
