Draymond Green Says Fans in Cleveland 'Don't Seem to be the Sharpest People'
Let's just say Draymond Green doesn't have an affinity for Cleveland Cavaliers fans.
Speaking to reporters following the Golden State Warriors' 137-116 Game 4 loss Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena, Green said he doesn't think of the Wine and Gold faithful or their "Draymond sucks" jeers.
"I don't pay attention to people in Cleveland honestly," he said, according to the Bay Area News Group's Anthony Slater. "Don't seem to be the sharpest people."
This isn't the first time Green has called out Cavaliers fans.
On Thursday, Green had some choice words for the people who heckled his mother following the Warriors' 118-113 Game 3 win.
"They're fine, it happens every year," Green said, according to video captured by Sports Illustrated. "Fans here are just rude. My mom can hold her own, though, she's good."
Now headed back to Oracle Arena for Game 5, Green should be motivated to close out the Cavaliers as he hopes to avoid another face-to-face meeting with Cleveland fans next Thursday.
