Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 3 Ratings Up 14% from Last Season
The Golden State Warriors' 118-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday was a ratings winner for ABC.
According to ESPN, via USA Today's A.J. Perez, Wednesday's ratings were up 14 percent from Game 3 last year and the game reached a peak rating of 15.6 during the period between 11:30-11:45 p.m. ET.

Even though the Warriors have swept their way through the postseason thus far, running their record to 15-0 after Game 3, Perez noted the ratings for this year's NBA Finals are up four percent compared to last year.
One significant difference between Game 3 last year and this year is that Wednesday's version was competitive. The Cavaliers won last year's Game 3 120-90, which came after Golden State won Game 2 110-77.
The Warriors used an 11-0 run over the last three minutes in Game 3 to erase a six-point deficit and put themselves one win away from capturing a second title in three years.
