Rob Gronkowski Interferes in Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WWE WrestleMania 33

Jinder Mahal learned the hard way not to insult New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Gronkowski, a friend of WWE star Mojo Rawley, interfered in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday after Mahal threw a drink at him outside the ring. WWE shared a replay of Gronkowski shoulder-blocking Mahal:

Rawley went on to win the match after eliminating Mahal last.

The four-time Pro Bowler isn't the first NFL star to involve himself at WrestleMania. Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor is perhaps the most notable example. He beat Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995. Ā  Ā Ā
