6-Pack Challenge Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship
1 of 13
No odds available.
The return of Naomi has thrown the SmackDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania into disarray, with the prospective winner no longer obvious.
For the longest time, it appeared that Bliss would somehow navigate the minefield and successfully retain her title. With Naomi back to claim what she never truly lost, the redemption story feels too good to pass up.
The only thing working against Naomi is the fact the match takes place in her hometown. WWE fans have watched countless times as hometown heroes are defeated and humiliated in booking decisions that rarely make sense.
Expect that to be the case again Sunday, when WWE Creative denies her the opportunity to leave Camping World Stadium with the title.
Prediction
Alexa Bliss retains.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
2 of 13
| Odds | |
| Braun Strowman | -1200 |
| Samoa Joe | +800 |
| Big Show | +900 |
| Finn Balor | +1000 |
| Sami Zayn | +1000 |
The five Superstars with the greatest odds of winning The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal are an eclectic mix of competitors.
Braun Strowman and Big Show are traditional giants, the likes of whom fare well in over-the-top-rope challenges. That Strowman has been so heavily featured on Raw over the past six months bodes well for his chances to pick up a signature WrestleMania win.
Neither Samoa Joe nor Finn Balor has been announced for the match, but that means nothing. A year ago, an unannounced Baron Corbin entered the contest and won, beginning a year-long run that will culminate with an Intercontinental Championship match against Dean Ambrose Sunday night.
Sami Zayn is an interesting case, especially given his recent interactions with Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon. The latter's treatment of the Montreal native is reminiscent of the same "underdog vs. authority" story that catapulted Daniel Bryan to the main event in WWE.
Could Zayn be the latest indy star-turned-WWE Superstar to combat The Authority?
Possibly, but this feels like Strowman's match to lose. The odds reflect that.
Prediction
Braun Strowman wins.
Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville vs. Austin Aries
3 of 13
| Neville | -500 |
| Austin Aries | +333 |
Austin Aries vs. Neville is a match deserving of the main card presentation Sunday but will instead take place on the WrestleMania 33 Kickoff Show.
Aries recently returned to the squared circle and appears highly motivated to lend credibility to the cruiserweight division. His sarcastic retorts to the overly serious Neville have made for a fun dynamic, but Sunday night, fun will not be a word used to describe the physical war they will wage over the division's top prize.
Neville is still too hot a heel to take the title off of him. Prematurely crowning Aries could do damage to both Superstars. If booked smartly, this should serve as Chapter 1 of their rivalry rather than its culmination.
Prediction
Neville retains.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin
4 of 13
| Baron Corbin | -2000 |
| Dean Ambrose | +800 |
Baron Corbin made his debut on WWE's main roster at last year's WrestleMania, winning The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to kick off an amazing run that will culminate Sunday when he challenges Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship in the most important match of his career.
The match is the story of Corbin and his ascension up the ranks. Ambrose has been floundering in the midcard and has nothing left to prove as champion. Putting over Corbin and creating a bigger star out of him is the right move for a Lunatic Fringe in desperate need of freshening up.
Prediction
Baron Corbin wins the Intercontinental Championship.
Triple Threat Ladder Match for the Raw Tag Team Championships
5 of 13
| Enzo Amore and Big Cass | -175 |
| Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson | +138 |
| Cesaro and Sheamus | +500 |
After the March 27 episode of Raw, the Triple Threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championships is a ladder match and a part of the main card.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will defend their titles against the teams of Enzo Amore and Big Cass and former champions Cesaro and Sheamus in a contest that suddenly has show-stealing potential. While some would like the bruisers formerly of The Club to retain, all signs point to babyfaces Amore and Cass winning their first tag titles.
The odds agree, and rightfully so.
Amore and Cass' popularity has remained consistently high from the moment they debuted on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw in 2016. The dynamic duo has become highly visible on television, in ads and at merchandise stands around the country.
Enzo and Cass are as over a tag team as WWE has produced since the height of New Day's run and are the most obvious tandem to leave Orlando with the gold around their waists.
Prediction
Enzo Amore and Big Cass win the Raw Tag Team Championships.
Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the Raw Women's Championship
6 of 13
| Bayley | -700 |
| Sasha Banks | +450 |
| Charlotte | +900 |
| Nia Jax | +1400 |
Bayley has been put at a tremendous disadvantage Sunday at WrestleMania, as she is set to defend her Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Nia Jax in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match.
The contest has been built to over several months and is the result of several moving pieces.
Jax has been dominant, running over the competition en route to Orlando. Charlotte is the vengeful champion seeking her fifth championship. Banks is the titleholder's best friend, but there appears to be selfish reasoning behind her sudden relationship with Bayley.
The champion is the fun-loving fan of professional wrestling who made good on her promise to become the top female performer in the industry.
Could her championship dream become a nightmare at WrestleMania?
It is not likely.
The setup for the match has seen her lose singles matches to every one of her opponents. Sunday, she gets her revenge, pinning Banks to score the final elimination and successful title retention.
Prediction
Bayley retains.
Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles
7 of 13
| AJ Styles | -900 |
| Shane McMahon | +500 |
There is only one logical winner in the battle between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles, especially taking into consideration the fact it is a singles match. Styles must defeat McMahon clean in the center of the ring, preferably without too much of a struggle.
Anything other than that outcome threatens Styles' credibility at a time when he is clearly the face of SmackDown Live.
A decisive win, with a big bump by one or both of the Superstars, and fans will be receptive.
Prediction
AJ Styles wins.
Mixed Tag Team Match: John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz
8 of 13
| John Cena and Nikki Bella | -3000 |
| The Miz and Maryse | +1000 |
John Cena and Nikki Bella will defeat The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33.
If they do not, the entire purpose of the story and rivalry leading into the match is negated. The heroes conquer the loudmouthed villains who have tormented, humiliated and disrespected them. It is the simplest story to tell, and one WWE has told hundreds of times.
It should be of no great surprise, then, that the odds are so lopsided ahead of Sunday's show.
The big question is not whether Cena and Bella win but, as has been hinted at numerous times in Miz and Maryse's mockery of the babyfaces' reality show, Total Bellas, if Cena proposes to his longtime girlfriend.
Prediction
John Cena and Nikki Bella.
Unsanctioned Match: Seth Rollins vs. Triple H
9 of 13
| Seth Rollins | -800 |
| Triple H | +450 |
Seth Rollins opens up the favorite to win WrestleMania's unsanctioned match against Triple H, but the booking on the go-home edition of Raw was somewhat concerning.
On that night, Rollins was the last man standing. Per WWE's booking style, that does not bode well for a victory Sunday night.
The Architect should win. He is young, athletic and one of the best in the company at what he does. A victory over Triple H would propel him to the top of the babyface roster.
There is a sense, though, that Triple H will win the match, and the victory will be justified because of Rollins' injured knee. He could also benefit from outside interference from Samoa Joe, who will likely be an X-factor during Sunday's match.
The odds say Rollins. This writer's gut says The Game picks up an unnecessary WrestleMania win.
Prediction
Triple H ends Rollins' heroic comeback in disappointing fashion.
The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns
10 of 13
| Roman Reigns | -700 |
| The Undertaker | +400 |
The most interesting odds of the entire event belong to the Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns match.
Reigns is the favorite to win, adding a second loss to The Deadman's WrestleMania 23-1 win-loss record. If that occurs, the chorus of boos that rains down from the stands Sunday night will be unparalleled. Fans will reject the outcome, and Reigns' heat among the WWE faithful will grow to incendiary proportions.
It would not be the wrong outcome, though.
Reigns is the future. Undertaker is a staple of two or three generations gone by. This is exactly the type of match the former should win.
And he will.
Prediction
Roman Reigns wins.
United States Championship Match: Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens
11 of 13
| Kevin Owens | -1000 |
| Chris Jericho | +550 |
In years past, Chris Jericho would have stomped into WrestleMania, avenged the betrayal he suffered at the hands of Kevin Owens on February 13 and retained his United States Championship.
That is not the WWE we live in anymore.
Owens was humiliated by Jericho Monday night on Raw, when he lost a high-profile match against Sami Zayn, courtesy of a distraction by Y2J.
Fueled by revenge of his own, and with the possibility of Samoa Joe interfering on his behalf, Owens is understandably the odds-on favorite to leave Orlando with the United States Championship.
Prediction
Kevin Owens wins the WWE United States Championship.
WWE Championship Match: Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
12 of 13
| Randy Orton | -800 |
| Bray Wyatt | +450 |
It is disappointing to see Randy Orton as the early favorite to win the WWE Championship on Sunday night.
His win may be the most logical payoff to his months-long feud with Bray Wyatt, but The Reaper of Souls only won his title in February and has not had more than one televised title defense in the month leading up to WrestleMania.
Taking the title off him at one of the hottest points of his up-and-down WWE career could do further damage to a character that ranks as one of the most engaging in the company.
Unfortunately, it appears as though WWE is willing to sacrifice Wyatt's credibility for the sake of another Orton title win.
Prediction
Randy Orton wins the WWE Championship.
WWE Universal Championship Match: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar
13 of 13
| Brock Lesnar | -5000 |
| Goldberg | +1200 |
While much has been made of Goldberg's return to WWE and latest Universal Championship reign, the story of Sunday's WrestleMania match revolves around Brock Lesnar and the adversity he has faced since last November's Survivor Series.
What happens when the baddest man on the planet runs into a bigger, badder man? How does he regroup and refocus himself to get better and conquer his enemy?
WWE has not done enough to promote that story. It is fresh, interesting and unlike any other on Sunday's card.
If the odds prove accurate, the answers to those questions will become apparent as Lesnar wins his first Universal Championship.
As has been the case many times throughout this journey through WrestleMania 33's card, the odds match the prediction.
Prediction
Brock Lesnar wins the Universal Championship.
