Eva Marie's Contract with WWE Reportedly Will Not Be Renewed
Eva Marie hasn't wrestled since August 2016, when the company suspended her for 30 days following a wellness violation.
Given her prolonged absence on WWE programming, an official announcement about her release wouldn't come as a huge surprise.
In addition, the women's division hasn't suffered with her out of the picture. Since Eva Marie's suspension, the company has added Bayley, Nikki Bella and Mickie James, with Asuka a near certainly to join to the main roster before too long as well.
Still, it's unfortunate to see Eva Marie leaving after she finally found her groove in the ring.
The 32-year-old was one of NXT's top heels in 2015 and early 2016, forming a perfect partnership with Nia Jax. Nia was the muscle, and Eva Marie was guaranteed to garner a heated reaction from the Full Sail crowd:
