Tim Tebow's New Minor League Baseball Team Courted Him Via Twitter 7 Months Ago

The Columbia Fireflies' dreams became reality seven months after they set their sights on Tim Tebow.

Shortly after Tebow made the announcement that he was transitioning from football to baseball, the Fireflies tweeted a photoshopped image of the ex-NFL player wearing their team jersey.

Roughly a month after their tweet, Tebow signed with the Mets. But that wasn't the end of it.

Six months after signing, Tebow is now officially a member of the Mets' low Class-A affiliate team, the Fireflies. 

Talk about manifesting.
