John Cena, Nikki Bella vs. the Miz, Maryse Announced for WWE WrestleMania 33
SmackDown Live general manager Daniel Bryan announced Tuesday that John Cena and Nikki Bella will clash with The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33, per WWE.
The Miz was victorious the last time he met Cena at WrestleMania, beating him in the main event of WrestleMania XXVII in 2011.
Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez (h/t Wrestling Inc's Marc Middleton) reported in February the mixed tag match was in the works for The Showcase of the Immortals.

WWE all but confirmed the rumors on the Feb. 28 edition of SmackDown. After Cena and The Miz exchanged verbal barbs, Maryse slapped Cena, which brought Nikki out from backstage:
On the most recent episode of Talking Smack, The Miz continued to harangue the 16-time world champion:
Cena and Miz's interactions have consistently been the strongest part of SmackDown over recent weeks. The Miami Herald's Scott Fishman is among the fans watching with rapt attention when the two are on television:
On one hand, it's somewhat disappointing WWE brought Nikki and Maryse into a feud that was working perfectly fine without their involvement. Plus, mixed-tag matches don't have an illustrious history at WrestleMania—see Snooki, Trish Stratus and John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler and LayCool at WrestleMania XXVII.
On the other hand, bringing Nikki into the fray is the perfect way for Cena to neutralize Maryse, so it works from a storytelling perspective.
In the larger scheme of things, the match will likely be a way to give Nikki a WrestleMania send-off, much like her sister Brie received at WrestleMania last year. Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin reported Nikki plans to take a break after the event in order to alleviate persistent pain in her neck.
Winning at WrestleMania alongside Cena would be a great way for the longest-reigning Divas champion in WWE history to step away from the sport for a while.
