76ers Fans Celebrate Win with 'Raise the Cat' Cam

Real life imitated the online world at the Philadelphia 76ers' arena Monday with a new fan celebration. 

Philly fans have been touting an internet movement involving their pets in the celebration of each team win.

Twitter user @GipperGrove is credited with starting the #RaiseTheCat movement that's as simple as it sounds: Each time the Sixers win, they tweet a pic of their upraised cats. 

Wells Fargo Center decided to bring the online celebration into the arena as the 76ers beat the Sacramento Kings 122-119 on Monday with a new #RaiseTheCat cam at game's end. 

Sixers fans eagerly awaited their turns on the Jumbotron with outstretched arms, hoping for the opportunity to have the image of a cat superimposed into their hands.
