Let's face it, we've all seen those uniforms that make us all gasp simultaneously. And then there are those uniforms that just make you sit back and take a second look. I'm personally fascinated by the whole look of an NFL jersey and who comes up with these awesome (and not so awesome) designs. Whoever created the jerseys from my top 10, kudos. So here it is, the top 10 NFL jerseys.

Honerable Mention: New Orleans Saints (Black and Gold)

PHILADELPHIA - SEPTEMBER 20: Drew Brees #9 of the New Orleans Saints walks on the field during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on September 20, 2009 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images)

We'll kick things off with a few honorable mentions. First and foremost, let's start with the New Orleans Saints. You have to admit that these look sharp. The black jersey combined with the gold helmet, pants, and numbers really blend together well.

Honerable Mention: St. Louis Rams

SAN FRANCISCO - OCTOBER 04: Steven Jackson #39 of the the St. Louis Rams runs against the San Francisco 49ers during an NFL game on October 4, 2009 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California. (Photo by Jed Jacobsohn/Getty Images)

It's just something about the Rams' uniforms that just gets me going! I'm not even a Rams fan yet I own a Kurt Warner jersey simply because it looks awesome especially these all white ones. I love the way the horns curl over the helmet to get that Ram-esq feel to it. The colors all compliment each other beautifully, now if only the players filling the uniforms can actually win some games.

Honerable Mention: Carolina Panthers

ARLINGTON, TX - SEPTEMBER 28: Quarterback Jake Delhomme #17 of the Carolina Panthers at Cowboys Stadium on September 28, 2009 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

Who would've thought that black, baby blue, and silver would look so cool! And that's all I got to say...

No. 5 Bad Uniform: Dallas Cowboys

DENVER - OCTOBER 04: Miles Austin #19 of the Dallas Cowboys rushes returns a kick off against the Denver Broncos during NFL action at Invesco Field at Mile High on October 4, 2009 in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos defeated the Cowboys 17-10. (Photo by Do

Maybe I'm color blind but it seems to me that the color of the stripes, sleeve stripes and numbers don't even match. One looks dark blue, the other light blue, and the last one a bit middle-ground. Now perhaps it's just these jerseys because the ones from the 90s look really cool with the whole stars on the shoulder pads. But as for now, I gotta give Dallas the 5th worst looking NFL jersey.

No. 4 Bad Uniform: Jacksonville Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, FL - OCTOBER 04: Derek Cox #21 of the Jacksonville Jaguars looks over the offense during the game against the Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Ima

The Jaguars decided prior to this season to change the look of their jerseys, and I have to say, this just isn't working out. The Jaguars said they implemented the change in design because "their performance last year made the Jaguars look as if they had no identity." And by making new uniforms you suddenly have an identity? I could understand if they took a huge undertaking and completely re-vamped their unis, but this is just a plain jersey (with odd colors I may add) with a few stripes in them. Thumbs down Jax, thumbs down.

No. 3 Bad Uniform: Buffalo Bills

MIAMI - OCTOBER 04: Quarterback Trent Edwards #5 of the Buffalo Bills throws against the Miami Dolphins at Land Shark Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Miami, Florida. Miami defeated Buffalo 31-30. (Photo by Marc Serota/Getty Images)

Maybe I'm a bit picky, but anything over three stripes is just too much. It seems to me that Buffalo's design is just too... crowded. The uniforms they wore proudly during their Super Bowl runs made them look very classy, but these just seem to scream GIVE ME SOME SPACE!

No. 2 Bad Uniform: Indianapolis Colts

INDIANAPOLIS - OCTOBER 04: Joseph Addai #29 of the Indianapolis Colts runs with the ball during the NFL game against the Seattle Seahawks at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts won 34-17. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty I

It's not that they're necessarily bad uniforms, it's just that they're extremely outdated. The Colts have had virtually no changes in their uniform since their inception way back in Baltimore. I say it's time for the Colts to re-design a new uni that modernizes their look.

No. 1 Bad Uniform: Kansas City Chiefs

PHILADELPHIA - SEPTEMBER 27: Quarterback Matt Cassel #7 of the Kansas City Chiefs passes against the Philadelphia Eagles during their game on September 27, 2009 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Travis Lindquist/Getty I

It's just something about seeing red and yellow mixed together that makes me want to change the channel instantly. Nothing against the Chiefs, who are a storied franchise and deserve every bit of credit, but you guys seriously need new unis. It'd be one thing if the uniforms were classy-looking, but these just don't do it for me.

No. 10 Best Uniform: Chicago Bears

CHICAGO - OCTOBER 04: Lance Briggs #55 of the Chicago Bears awaits the start of play against the Detroit Lions on October 4, 2009 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears defeated the Lions 48-24. (Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)

Everything about the Bears' uniforms just screams classy. From their sleek navy blue color to their orange stripes, down to the tribute of founder George Staley Halas imprinted on their sleeves (GSH) this uniform it's simply gorgeous. And for a team that's known for producing dominating defenses, this baby looks even better when it's dirty.

No. 9 Best Uniform: Baltimore Ravens

HOUSTON - NOVEMBER 09: Linebacker Ray Lewis #52 of the Baltimore Ravens during play against the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium on November 9, 2008 in Houston, Texas. (Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

Purple has been seen usually as a "girly" color, but somehow the Ravens (and another team just ahead of the Ravens on this list) happen to pull it off. Baltimore blends the purple beautifully with their logo, white pants, and black shoes. It has a sense of classiness to it, yet it remains modern.

No. 8 Best Uniform: Minnesota Vikings

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - SEPTEMBER 27: Quarterback Brett Favre #4 of the Minnesota Vikings prepares to throw the ball during the game against the San Francisco 49ers at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome on September 27, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings de

As I said in the Ravens' slide there is one other team that makes "girly" purple look great on an NFL uniform, and that's the Vikings. As opposed to their old uniforms that looked hideous, when the Vikes unveiled these beauties circa 2005 they made them selves look good. By sticking with the purple base color, they managed to modernize by using slim, sleek, twisting lines of purple that surround thick white stripes to make this baby look good. If only they can just re-do their outdated logo...

No. 7 Best Uniform: San Diego Chargers Powder Blue

SAN DIEGO - SEPTEMBER 20: Brandon Manumaleuna #86 of the San Diego Chargers carries the ball against the Baltimore Ravens at Qualcomm Stadium on September 20, 2009 in San Diego, California. The Ravens defeated the Chargers 31-26. (Photo by Jeff Gross/Ge

It's not just the classic white and blue, but the lightning bolts that cover it that makes this uniform look awesome. However it's not their home or away unis that take the cake: it's those Powder Blue beauties. Any team that can have all of their jerseys look great is deserving of a spot in my list.

No. 6 Best Uniform: Cincinnati Bengals

CLEVELAND - OCTOBER 04: Carson Palmer #9 of the Cincinnati Bengals throws a pass against the Cleveland Browns during their game at Cleveland Browns Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Bengals defeated the Browns 23-20 in overtime. (Photo

Just something about these unis that make me happy. The cool striped helmets combined with the striped sleeves, oh, and the striped "stripe" down the leg really makes these babies look sweet. The only thing better is their all-black uniforms which are rarely worn.

No. 5 Best Uniform: Houston Texans

HOUSTON - OCTOBER 04: Houston Texan Jacoby Jones #12 of the Houston Texans receives congratulations from teammate Dominique Barber #34 after his 95 yard kick return at Reliant Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Houston, Texas. (Photo by Bob Levey/Getty Image

Maybe it's the cool stripe on the shoulder, or perhaps the even cooler looking logo, but the Texans' uniforms are one of the few things they've gotten right in their short existence.

No. 4 Best Uniform: Tennessee Titans

JACKSONVILLE, FL - OCTOBER 04: David Garrard #9 of the Jacksonville Jaguars attempts a pass during the game against the Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

Say what you want about the shade of blue they chose, but the way it's complimented the white, red, and sweet logo makes this uniform pretty eye-catching.

No. 3 Best Uniform: New England Patriots

FOXBORO, MA - OCTOBER 4: Tom Brady #12 of the New England Patriots gestures during a game against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Foxboro, Massachusetts. (Photo by Jim Rogash/Getty Images)

The only team that represents an entire region does it with pride by showing off maybe the best look combination of red, white, blue and silver I've ever seen. It's the thin stripes of red down the sides combined with the border around the silver numbers that make these look great.

No. 2 Best Uniform: Arizona Cardinals

JACKSONVILLE, FL - SEPTEMBER 20: Tim Hightower #34 of the Arizona Cardinals runs during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on September 20, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

There's nothing like taking unoriginal colors and making a completely original design. Just look at it! It's slick, combines the white, red and black perfectly, and is now paired with some electrifying players to fill them.

The best jersey in the NFL is... The Atlanta Falcons

FOXBORO, MA - SEPTEMBER 27: Eric Weems #14 of the Atlanta Falcons returns a kickoff against the New England Patriots in the third quarter of the game at Gillette Stadium on September 27, 2009 in Foxboro, Massachusetts. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images)

When the Falcons unveiled their new jerseys in the early 2000s, they changed the way teams designed jerseys. It's modern, it's slick, and those stripes kind of resemble a Falcon's wings. What's best is both their home and away jerseys both look fantastic.
