Wednesday's $75,000 pledge came on the heels of a $50,000 donation the defending Western Conference champions made Dec. 3.

"When a tragedy of this magnitude hits this close to home, we feel it's imperative to do our small part to help our community and those impacted," Warriors president and chief operating officer Rick Welts said, per the team's initial announcement. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and friends during this incredibly difficult time."

In addition to the Warriors, the Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco Giants have all made monetary contributions since the fire occurred Dec. 2.

The A's initiated the effort and matched $30,000 in contributions their fans made, and the Raiders joined that pledge by donating an additional $30,000. The Giants followed suit when they announced the franchise was joining the fund the A's started.

To date, the Oakland Fire Relief fund has raised over $400,000 from more than 2,900 separate donors.
