Brian Hamilton of Sports Illustrated reported Bart Houston will start against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Houston Ready to Deal with Hornibrook's Absence
Hornibrook, a freshman who has thrown for 1,243 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, took over as the starter in the fourth game of the season. Wisconsin has utilized both of its quarterbacks throughout the year, however, and Hornibrook has shared quarterbacking duties with Houston.
Houston, a senior, has thrown for 912 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.
Penn State's defense is ranked 30th in both passing yards allowed per game (200.5) and points per contest (22.8) this season. With the Big Ten title and potentially a berth in the College Football Playoff on the line, Houston will have to play well to lead the Badgers to a victory.
