The Chargers announced Benjamin is available to play in Week 9 against Tennessee.

Latest on Benjamin's Practice Status

Friday, Nov. 4

Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Benjamin took part in Friday's practice.

On Wednesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Benjamin was diagnosed with a Grade 2 PCL sprain that doesn't require surgery.

Benjamin Crucial to Chargers' Passing Attack

Benjamin, who leads the team in receptions and is tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns, has become the Chargers' go-to option at receiver.

Benjamin signed a four-year deal with the Chargers in the offseason after spending his first four years with the Cleveland Browns.

The Chargers are 3-5—three games behind the division-leading Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncosheading into their Week 9 showdown against the Titans. They can't afford to lose more ground in the AFC West, so his availability will be a big boost.
