Tottenham Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Isco and Marcelo Brozovic
Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be "open" to recruiting Real Madrid midfielder Isco on loan this winter. Meanwhile, Spurs will reportedly go up against London rivals Chelsea in their bid to sign Inter Milan's Marcelo Brozovic.
According to the London Evening Standard (h/t Calciomercato), the north Londoners are ready to revive their interest in Isco when the January transfer window comes around, although a permanent sale may not be on the cards.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino could still have a chance at landing the Spain international, however, after it emerged Real "would not mind" farming Isco out on a temporary deal.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane recently awarded the 24-year-old an extended run in the first team amid a raft of injuries, and Squawka suggested the former Malaga maestro is grasping his opportunity with both hands:
All three of Isco's league starts this season have come in his last three outings, and although his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2018, it seems Real will be willing to loan their fringe star out.
Tottenham will have hefty competition for his signature in the form of west London giants Chelsea, and OptaJose illustrated the kind of creative force both teams are examining ahead of the winter window:
Calciomercato (h/t Goal) also reported Tottenham are "closely monitoring" Brozovic's situation at the San Siro following his sluggish start to the 2016-17 campaign in Milan.
It's said the Croatia international could be available for a fee of "around £17.8 million," although Nerazzurri manager Frank de Boer spoke highly of the player following his side's recent 2-1 defeat to Atalanta:
Brozovic spent 18 months on loan at the San Siro from former club Dinamo Zagreb before finalising a permanent switch to Inter this past summer, when Roberto Mancini was still at the club's helm.
However, the campaign isn't all going to plan, and BT Sport pundit James Horncastle recently critiqued the playmaker after he was sent off in last Thursday's UEFA Europa League meeting against Southampton:
Spurs beefed up their midfield with the addition of Victor Wanyama over the summer, but the squad was stretched during Mousa Dembele's recent injury absence.
Brozovic could be a more plausible winter recruit considering his club appears open to a sale as things stand, but the 23-year-old's price tag could create an obstacle at a time of year when spending in large quantities is rare.
