Vin Scully Returns to Surprise Dodgers, Fans Before Game 5 of the NLCS

Zac WassinkOct 20, 2016

Legendary Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Vin Scully retired after 67 years of service to the club following the 2016 regular season. He surprised the Los Angeles players and fans attending Game 5 of the National League Championship Series by unofficially beginning Thursday's game involving the Cubs

Scully, watching in a suite rather than from an announcers booth, was given a microphone and an opportunity to once again offer his famous phrase: "It's time for Dodger baseball!"
