The team announced Fusco is available against Philadelphia in Week 7.
Fusco an Important Piece of Vikings Line
Minnesota's offensive line has been ravaged by injury.
ESPN.com's Adam Caplan reported in July that continued Achilles issues forced Phil Loadholt to retire. Once the season began, the team placed Matt Kalil on injured reserve as well.
The Vikings have weathered all of their injuries because of their strong defense, which Football Outsiders ranked second in defensive DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average) entering Week 7.
The defense can only shoulder that burden for so long, though, before all the absences become too much. Minnesota ranked eighth in pass protection but 32nd in run blocking, according to Football Outsiders.
If Fusco is forced to the sidelines this season, it would further exacerbate the Vikings' issues in opening up running lanes for Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata.
