Andy Murray Reveals Hotel Maid Sat on His Bed and Stroked His Arm While He Slept
Andy Murray has revealed a hotel maid started stalking him after he woke up to find her stroking his arm at his bedside.
The two-time Wimbledon champion said the creepy incident happened at a tour event when he placed a "do not disturb" sign on his hotel door.
Murray then spotted the maid at a number of other hotels he was staying in as he competed across Europe, according to the Scotsman.

The world No. 2 said he woke to find the maid by his bedside, stroking his arm.
"At one of the tournaments that I played, there was maid in the hotel. I had the do not disturb sign up on the door and she came in and sat on my bed and started stroking my arm at about 7 in the morning when I was still sleeping. She then turned up at a couple more tournaments in the hotels that I was playing at in Rotterdam and Barcelona. I don’t know if that is a fan thing but that was a bit extreme.
"
Murray is currently playing at the China Open in Beijing this week as he bids to make inroads into the rankings lead of Novak Djokovic, who pulled out of the event with an elbow injury, as reported by the Associated Press (h/t Tennis.com).
The gap between the top two players in the world is 2,055 points and Murray will take off another 1,000 should he win the title in China.
Murray spoke recently of his ambition to overhaul his rival before the end of 2016, per the official ATP World Tour website: "It's something I would like to do for the first time, which is maybe more of a motivation for me than some of the guys that have been there before."
