Moncrief Has Been Dinged Up During 2016 Season
The 2016 campaign didn't get off to a great start for Moncrief. In Week 1, he had seven receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown in a 39-35 loss to the Detroit Lions. In Week 2, he suffered a shoulder injury as the Colts were on their way to a second straight defeat.
Moncrief remained positive despite the setback:
Moncrief returned Oct. 30 and has scored three touchdowns in as many games.
The Colts still have T.Y. Hilton and 2015 first-round draft pick Phillip Dorsett as available options if Moncrief had been out, but his absence would have left the Colts down one of their better playmakers.
