Kendricks Plays Critical Role in Vikings Defense
Kendricks continues to prove he's worth the second-round investment the Vikings made in him during last year's draft. He racked up 92 combined tackles and four sacks as a rookie and has made further strides toward establishing himself as a defensive stalwart in 2016.
On the injury front, he's been able to avoid any serious setbacks since arriving to the NFL. He did sit out two games last season because of a rib issue. He also missed time during the preseason leading up to the current campaign because of a hamstring problem.
Despite being banged up in 2016, Kendricks has quietly become one of the best linebackers in the NFC.
