Cleveland Browns vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Live Score, Highlights and Analysis
The Cleveland Browns opened the 2016 NFL season opener with a 29-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
One has to wonder if the Browns now regret not drafting Carson Wentz. The rookie quarterback completed 22 of 37 pass attempts for 278 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wentz very much so looked the part, and he outplayed Robert Griffin III in his first real test as an NFL starter.
Griffin, meanwhile, played shaky and inconsistent throughout the afternoon. Even worse, Griffin appeared to be banged up after he failed to adequately protect himself on a run late in a game that had already been decided by that point of the contest.

Center Cam Erving snapping the ball over Griffin's head and out of the end zone for a safety in the third quarter was the beginning of the end for the Browns. Wentz connected with Nelson Agholor for a 35-yard touchdown later that quarter, and the Browns never recovered.
The Browns must improve in every aspect before they host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, September 18.
