John Elway's Advice for Trevor Siemian Revealed Before Panthers vs. Broncos
Trevor Siemian faces pressure as the starting quarterback for the reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, but general manager John Elway put things in perspective.
According to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Elway said: "Just go out and play. Don't worry about making mistakes. Don't worry about turnovers. You're going to make mistakes. But just bounce back."

Fans' picks for NFL mock draft
Siemian, a second-year player, beat out Mark Sanchez (now with the Dallas Cowboys) and first-round rookie Paxton Lynch for Denver's starting job. He will be under center when Denver opens its season against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Siemian, a seventh-rounder out of Northwestern, did plenty to earn his position as the Broncos starter during the preseason:
Though Siemian may have a short leash, the Broncos won it all last season with spotty quarterback play thanks to a dominant defense and a strong running game. Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler combined to throw 19 touchdown passes and 23 interceptions.
The blueprint will be the same in 2016, regardless of who is under center: defense and rushing.
