Aaron Ramsey Injury: Arsenal 'Increasingly Alarmed' over Hamstring Recovery
Arsenal are said to have growing concerns over the fitness of midfielder Aaron Ramsey, with his recovery from a hamstring problem reportedly taking longer than anticipated.
According to Charlie Wyett of the Sun, the Gunners are becoming "increasingly alarmed" about the situation, with the Wales international out of the upcoming clash with Chelsea. Ramsey picked up the knock during the tussle with Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Ramsey has suffered with plenty of injuries during his time with Arsenal and will be hugely disappointed with another setback.

The 2016-17 campaign in the Premier League followed on from a superb 2016 UEFA European Championship for the player, who was one of the standout midfielders in the competition for Wales. At Arsenal, Ramsey carries out an equally important duty.

He may not have the same kind of attacking threat as players such as Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil, but Ramsey is a direct, hard-working and versatile midfielder. Whether on the right or in the centre of the midfield, he’s a footballer so many managers would love to have to hand.

Thankfully for boss Arsene Wenger, the Gunners do have plenty of options in the positions Ramsey occupies. On the right side, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are reliable figures, while the likes of Santi Cazorla, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin provide depth in the middle of the park.
Even so, Arsenal didn’t look at their best without Ramsey in the setup last term, and with clashes to come against Chelsea, FC Basel and Burnley, those tied to the Emirates Stadium outfit will be hoping to see him back at full tilt again soon.
