Latest on Edwards' Potential Return

Saturday, Nov. 12

Eddie Paskal of the team's official website noted the following:

"

Head Coach Del Rio doesn't like to discuss injuries, so a concrete timeline for Edwards' return is uncertain, but he has been seen around the facility in recent weeks, for whatever that’s worth. Edwards Struggling to Shake Injury Bug in NFL

The 22-year-old is trying to build off of a rookie season in which he recorded a pair of sacks and 42 total tackles in 14 games and 10 starts.

It was a season that was also cut short due to a neck injury that was originally feared to be career-threatening, though it didn't prove to be.

Entering Week 14, the Raiders stand at 10-2 and are in first place in the AFC West. Edwards would provide a major boost to the defense if he's able to return heading into the postseason.
