It's estimated that about 30,000 Icelanders—or around 10 percent of the Icelandic population (just under 330,000)—are in France following their national team at Euro 2016. And they're certainly making themselves heard.
After the Nordic nation defeated Austria with a last-gasp goal—which also ensured a round-of-16 meeting with England—the fans at the Stade de France celebrated in unison with the players with their infamous Viking-style chant.
