Sacramento Kings Reveal New Logos

The Sacramento Kings have officially unveiled their new logos, part of an overhaul that will also include a new arena in the 2016-17 season.

It looks like those black-and-white versions that leaked over the weekend were fairly accurate:

The new logos are a clear throwback to the 1970s, when the Kings were the Cincinnati Royals:

And while rumor had it the Kings might revert back to the old baby-blue-and-red color scheme, per Dieter Kurtenbach of Fox Sports, it looks like purple is here to stay.
