Louis van Gaal sent the Internet into a meme-generating frenzy when he threw himself to the ground during Manchester United's 3-2 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

The Dutchman was remonstrating with fourth official Mike Dean over what he saw as a dive by the Gunners' Alexis Sanchez, and his performance was so convincing it might even have stunned the film world too.
