While athletes the world over were sharing cute snaps from their Valentine's Day celebrations on Sunday, Floyd Mayweather chose to be a little more controversial.

The 38-year-old retired from professional boxing last year with a 49-0 record and has recently completed a UK tour.

Following his trip around Britain, "Money" stopped by the Netherlands, where he revealed a trip to Amsterdam's famous Red Light District on his Instagram account.

"If you pay, you can slay", read Mayweather's caption, along with a series of crude hashtags.

He's never been one to shy away from conflict.
