Mexican Real Madrid Fans Name Child 'Ronaldo Zinedin,' Makes National U15 Side
Being named after two Real Madrid legends certainly raises expectations on the football field.
But thankfully for one Mexican family, their son is quite the talent on the pitch, leading to his call-up to the Mexico under-15 squad, reports Goal.com.
Nancy Rodriguez, the mother of Ronaldo Zinedin, told Medio Tiempo last year that her son's name came about due to his parents' love of Brazilian Ronaldo and Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.

"My husband and I were big fans of Ronaldo and of Zidane," she said. "Because of this when he was in the womb he moved a lot and I said to my husband that he was going to be like those two players."
Ronaldo represented Los Blancos between 2002 and 2007 alongside Zidane, who is now the club's manager.
"At first, we didn't agree, because my husband is more a fan of Ronaldo and I'm a bigger fan of Zinedine," she continued, "so we decided to give him both names."
And now the Santos Laguna youngster is living up to his name, having been called up to a training camp for his country's youth squad.
But don't despair. If you thought the name lacked timelessness, the parents have been reaping the rewards for over a decade given that Zidane now coaches three-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
