Saturday, April 23

Los Blancos named the Welshman in their starting lineup for the domestic clash against Rayo Vallecano.

Latest on Bale's Training Status

Thursday, April 21

Bale's Importance Growing at Real

Whenever Bale has taken to the turf in 2015-16, he’s shown flashes of quality. The former Tottenham Hotspur man is becoming the heartbeat of Zinedine Zidane’s side thanks to his powerful surges, neat link-up play and penchant for bagging vital goals.

While Cristiano Ronaldo remains the man most likely to cap off flowing moves for Los Blancos, if he’s not on the end of things himself, Bale is the man typically conjuring the opportunities.

Here are some of the highlights of his campaign so far:

After a dream debut season, in which the forward scored the winning goals in the finals of both the UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey for Real, fans started to doubt whether Bale was good enough to don the all-white strip during a disappointing 2014-15. But he’s responded emphatically this term with some tremendous showings, most notably his four-goal haul against Rayo in December.

The only question mark that lingers over Bale at this juncture is his ability to keep fit for long spells.
