Nike Unveils NBA All-Star 2016 Signature Sneakers
Looking to get laced up for the All-Star Game?
Nike has rolled out this year's lineup for five of its signature athletes, drawing inspiration from the city of Toronto's heritage and natural elements while also nodding to each athlete's achievements.
The rich-looking leather and military-esque patches create a regal, dignified look—a fairly stark but interesting departure from the clean and simple uniforms the players will be rocking.
And with a variety of colors and patterns, it's difficult not to find a favorite.
The Western Conference

First up are the Black Mamba's final All-Star Game kicks. The Kobe 11 Elite was given the Northern Lights treatment: a black and glowing turquoise striation modeled after the majestic natural phenomenon complete with a marbled outsole.

Anthony Davis' Nike Air Audacity features a mostly black and gray textured upper, with hits of blue and gold.

By contrast, Kevin Durant's KD8 is quite busy. The colorful, patchwork upper is meant to draw from The Six's internationalism, while the pale blue and white outsole represents the snow and ice players may be confronting in February.
The Eastern Conference

The Nike Hyperlive Paul George will be rocking is all Canada—from the patriotic red to the maple leaf on the tongue (and, of course, that syrup-colored outsole).

And LeBron James' LeBron 13 is almost reminiscent of the trees from which that syrup is born. The earthy colorway has an almost woodsy, camouflage feel and, just like the KD8, is marked with an icy heel.
So, what say you? Which fire will burn brightest on February 14?
