Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Buys a Hotel in Monaco

Cristiano Ronaldo certainly isn't short of a penny or twoโ€”and it appears the Real Madrid superstar is investing in his future by building a significant property portfolio.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the Portuguese star has purchased a hotel in the "most exclusive area" of Monte Carlo. The cost? A cool โ‚ฌ140 million (ยฃ105 million).

The deal for the exclusive propertyโ€”which is a collaboration between an Italian real estate agent and American presidential nominee Donald Trumpโ€”was reportedly completed last week.ย 

This is not Ronaldo's only property connection to Trump: The 30-year-old reportedly purchased an $18.5 million (ยฃ13 million) apartment in New York's Trump Tower in August 2015.
