Police Officer Dunks in Street Basketball Game in Response to Noise Complaint

Officer Bobby White of the Gainesville Police Department in Florida has gained some recognition for being a strong enforcer—of fun!

When dispatched to answer a noise-complaint call, he found that the reported problem was, in fact, just some kids playing basketball in the street.

He dealt with the situation in the only reasonable manner.

He strode up to them, discussed the situation, took the ball and tossed it through the rim, playing two-on-one until a much larger bunch emerged and took part.

For nearly 10 minutes (evidenced by the time on the dashboard camera), Officer White continued to shoot hoops. He even slammed down a one-handed jam!

Sensibility with style. Hats off, Officer White.
