Michael Impressive Replacing Rawls
Michael returned to Seattle, where he spent the first two years of his career, late last year. The Seahawks dealt with a rash of injuries in the backfield and needed more healthy bodies at the time. He re-signed during the offseason after the retirement of Marshawn Lynch.
The 26-year-old Texas A&M product had received limited playing time since the Seahawks selected him in the second round of the 2013 draft. But he finally started to see the field more regularly when Thomas Rawls was sidelined because of a leg injury, and he responded well.
Through eight games this season, Michael has rushed for 447 yards and six touchdowns. He has also caught 19 passes for 92 yards and a score.
