Watson used a big nine-under round on Saturday to grab the lead and kept the strong play going into Sunday's finale.
It was Watson's ninth win on the PGA Tour, which shared his winning putt:
Two big names in golf, Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth, finished in third and fourth, respectively, behind Patrick Reed.
Entering Sunday in eighth, Fowler mounted a nice charge by shooting eight under, but it was too little too late, as he could only get within four strokes of Watson.
Spieth finished one stroke behind Fowler, but he was consistent throughout the tournament, shooting a 67, 66, 68 and 67 over the four days at the Hero World Challenge.
With the calendar year drawing to a close, Spieth spoke with the PGA Tour about his 2015 season, which saw him win the FedEx Cup:
With his season off to a good start, Watson will look to feed off the win and keep the good times rolling.
