Stoke City striker Peter Crouch was an unused substitute in the Potters' penalty shootout win over Chelsea in the League Cup on Tuesday night, but he got his fair share of enjoyment from the victory.

Twitter user "Smithsta" made the promise in the lead-up to the game at the Britannia Stadium.

And former England striker Crouch made sure he didn't forget about it afterward.
